Message | Social Democratic Party, why don't you vote "yes"? This measure would allow a government space agency to oversee the private companies. Simply having the government issue permits to private space-exploration companies is really little more than a rubber stamp. "You have the money? Okay, into space you go!". The government needs its own space agency to regulate and approve the exploration of space. Plus, would you rather have the news headlines say "Darnussian Space Explorers Discover New Planet" or "J.R. Smith & Co. Discover New Business Opportunity". Legitimate Businessman's Social Club, this bill won't prevent businesses from investing. It will just mean that they will explore for the government and with the government's guidance. Surely you want space exploration to serve in the interests of Darnussia, not just whatever business decides to explore space? |
