Bill: Withdrawal from Eastern Union and International Monarchist League
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Party of Dolgava
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3137
Description[?]:
Due to the fact, that the proposed treaty on the creation of the Eastern Union has not presented the required success and has been ratified merely by three countries, including Dolgava, we propose an immediate withdrawal from this treaty. There is no necessity to adhere a treaty, which is not accepted and efficiently implemented. We also propose the withdrawal from the International Monarchist League as we have recently adopted amendments to our Constitution, which secure the structure of our country as a parliamentary republic, rather than a monarchy. Therefore there is no need to maintain the ratification of this treaty. |
Proposals
Article 1
Withdraw from the The International Monarchist League.
Article 2
Withdraw from the Formation and Membership of the Eastern Union.

Message | The PGP agrees about withdrawing from the IML. We have no particular opinion about the Eastern Union. We will vote yes, but hopes that Dolgava's withdrawal from the EU will be polite and cordial with respect o the remaining members. |

Message | If the organization is supposed to be running, our withdrawal could be seen as a gesture to intensify the current efforts. Once the organization is back on track, we will have a good chance to return to it, this time, however, within an organization which really unites the Eastern countries around the stated goals and values. |
