MessageMr Speaker,

We strongly oppose, there is absolutely nothing wrong with child labour per say. We understand opposition to excessive or abusive child labour but a young man holding a lemonade stand after school is child labour and should not be illegal.

I yield.

MessageOOC: Sorry, should be "per se" and not per say.

MessageWe refute the argument as expressed by the IA. Child Labour should be banned and all non exploitationary child labour should then be permissed by appropriate legislation. This bill is necessary to close the loopholes permitting abusive and excessive child labour.

I yield
