Bill: Population Deregulation Act of 3145

Details

Submitted by[?]: Genuine Progress Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3146

Description[?]:

This bill aims to take away the government's role in population control in Aloria. We believe that the government should play a role in encouraging couples to plan their families, but not to the point that they would be forced to do so and that they would be sanctioned for having more children than what is suggested. In the same manner, we do not believe that the government should be fully promoting population growth since a "baby boom" phenomenon might eventually lead us back into overpopulation.

If the current system prevents us from having a voluntary population control program, we believe it would be more reasonable for all of us if we take away the government's role in this issue.

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left.
