Message | I prefer a discretionary system. Elections may not be needed so often, in many cases, it is better to have more time to deliberate. If you notice, I have voted in favor of every recent early election. I believe I was the deciding vote on most, if not all, of them. I would support this, if there were a corresponding option to propose bills to lengthen the current term. oocly, as players, we need to be able to have elections when it's convenient for us. If this means every three years, then by all means, introduce an early election bill three years after each election. They usually pass, as well. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
