Description[?]:
After much thought on the current crisis of governance and lack of a majority; after witnessing the nth split between NUR and FIP, which has generated the approval of measures unfair and contrary to every profession moderate; after certificating the effective presence of constant discontent on the part of the electorate in the country, I, Ryan Obem, President of the Republic and Chairman of the Senate of Solentia, having tried in every way possible to create a majority, and having found some prejudicially negative answers, I ask the political forces to leave the decision to the citizens, also putting into question my tenure. For them to show us a new royal government. |

Message | "The NUR does not believe that the SPP's inability to work with other Senatorial blocs should end the tenure of sitting Senators who have been democratically elected. Nor do we believe in "a new royal government"." Lokke Lattimer, NUR Leader |

Message | "Mr. Lattimer, you say you have seen your elected senators. I have seen your party have the 16.62% of the votes in the last election. Added to 6.83% of the FIP, you do not even 24% of the votes. Do you remember that to govern is necessary the 50% +1 of the seats? The President is Ryan Obem, elected by the SSP. How dare claim to have been commissioned by the citizens to govern?" Faustino Montgomery, for the SSP |

Message | "I dare say we have. The NUR and FIP have been commissioned in previous elections to Govern. The SPP has been not been elected with a majority and has proven absolutely unable to form a coalition of over 50%. Thus the Government of the day must remain in place until a new coalition may replace her. It is worth noting, that the Supreme President is elected to chair the government, not to form the government and Mr. Obem has not been able to form a Government OR form a working coalition. I also maintain, Mr. Montgomery, that a Senator from say, Shinatawa, should not be forced to fight an election for their seat just because the People's Party has no ability to Govern. That senator was elected to serve a term and serve a term they shall." Lokke Lattimer, NUR Leader. |

Message | "We have not seen your coalition work very well recently. I have to remind you the law "Sexually Free Society Act"? (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=324289)" Demetreo Nerx (SPP) shouted from the opposition benches. |

Message | "I believe that Act passed the Senate with a comfortable majority AND proved only that the SPP have not got the democratic ability to command, dominate or even effect the legislative process. They are weak, they are alone and they CAN. NOT. Govern!" *Cheers from the Unionist benches* Lokke Lattimer, NUR Leader |
Date | 18:59:09, July 25, 2011 CET | From | Democratic Catholic Party | To | Debating the The government no longer exists. SPP calls new early elections, as soon as possible |
Message | "Dear President and dear colleagues, I find that Mr Lattimer is quite worried. I do not see why. If the NUR is so confident of having a majority, should not be afraid of this vote. If they are right, this request for early voting will fail. If you do not have a majority, it is right that we go to new elections. Let's vote on this motion and we'll know. Thanks to all". Message | "Again, he demonstrated their absolute inability to understand leadership. They think that defending the mandates of elected Senators means that Obem should govern; we say it means WE ALL KNOW THEY CAN'T!" *Unionists laugh* Lokke Lattimer, NUR Leader. |
Date | 21:22:43, July 25, 2011 CET | From | Federal Independent Party | To | Debating the The government no longer exists. SPP calls new early elections, as soon as possible |
Message | This is foolish partisanship and not worth engaging in. The Senate has more pressing matters to attend to than this. Instead of creating a bigger divide between the players of Solentian politics, it is recommended that Supreme President Obem look to more unifying strategies. Senator Frasier Jerrone |
