Details

Submitted by[?]: Deltarian Nationalist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2147

Description[?]:

Citizens are living longer these days so to compensate for this they should work for an additional 5 years.
To make sure they do not squander their hard earned money throughout their life on risky private pension schemes, all pensions should be controlled by the state so there is not as great a danger of pension shortfalls as ther is with private schemes.

MessageWhy should we stop people from investing their money as they wish? The state pension guarentees them some income and people who want to gain more can invest privately if they wish to take the risk.
