Subject: Treatment of Kalopian Citizens by the Likatonian Government.

Youre Excellency,

The Kafuri Government is deeply concerned about the planned detention of all Kalopian citizens residing in Likatonia. It strikes H.I.M. Government that the country which advocates for more freedom and civil liberty, both domestic and abroad, now is itself violating these priciples. Having been contacted by the Likatonian Government not to long a go about the situation of human rights in Kalopia, we find it hypocritical that the Likatonian Government now does the same thing as they accuse the Kalopian Government of doing, which is violating the human rights of not only its own citizens, but also of goreign nationals residing in Likatonia.

The Kafuri Government wishes to warn the Likatonian Government that any and all harresment and arrests of Kafuri citizens as well as any torture of said citizens will be taken on highly by the Kafuri Government and may lead to possible sanctions, both diplomatic and economical.

Signed,

Mehmet ibn Ahmed Said Muhammed,
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kafuristan

MessageYour Excellency,

We completely understand the confusion that you're Nation must be having over the recent Likatonian-Kalopian developments. After all, the recent events have happened fast, and required concentrated action.

However, that being said, the Federal Republic of Likatonia wishes nothing more than to protect the interests of it's citizens. We have not recieved word from the Kalopian Government about the claims from the captured terrorists, and it is more than disconcerting to us. In fact, the terrorists claim to be linked to a military faction of Kalopian citizens in Likatonia, who wish to harm our society.

We have had no choice but to detain all Kalopian citizens in our Nation until further notice, simply to avoid further attacks on Likatonian soil. Would Kafuri not do the same to protect the innocent lives of it's citizens?

The terrorists have been detained and so far have been working with investigators, meaning that they have not yet been tortured. Should they however refuse to co-operate, then in the name of the safety for our entire Nation, they must be forced with any means necessary to divulge the information.

We hope that your excellency will be able to understand these measures that our Nation have taken to protect our interests at home and abroad. We also hope that your Government will support our actions in attempting to right the violations of human freedoms all over the globe.

We wish that Your Excellency does not forget that it is Kalopia who started this fight, but it will be Likatonia that ends it.

Sincerely,

Rob Fournes,
President of the Federal Republic of Likatonia
