Description[?]:
Mr Jonathan Wies, former five time Chairman of Deltaria has today resigned from the position of Chairman of the Council of Ministers for the Confederation of Jelbania - citing health concerns. "The 68 year old Mr. Wies, who first ascended to political fame when his Liberal Conservative Party won him the Deltarian Chairmanship in May 3125 was a strong advocate for person freedoms and equality in his home nation, fighting with the zeal that he carried over to Jelbania after being ousted from the leadership in the 3140 elections. Working for some time as a private citizen amongst the Jelbanian people, Mr. Wies soon found himself a favourite amongst citizens of the nation that had come to distrust the workings of a political democracy. It was no surprise when Mr. Wies was asked to join the National Restoration Committee under Nathan Cook, the current President of the Confederation." As a gesture of goodwill and political unity in the face of rebuilding this nation - the Committee has come to the decision to grant the Ministerial Council Chairmanship to the nominated candidate from the Jelbanian Civic Forum. All other ministry positions will remain as they are. |
