Bill: Committee Directive on Sharing Responsibility
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Restoration Committee
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3162
Description[?]:
The Committee is dedicated to sharing the load between Private Enterprise and their Provincial and National Government counterparts. Alongside our previous directives to grant businesses greater involvement in the media and banking sectors, the committee would also like to see local government authorities take on much earned responsibilities. By delegating and working together, we can create a system where the failure of one area can be mitigated by another picking up the slack. We can forge a system where those best equipped can handle areas that they should rightfully be in control of. We are a confederation, not a dictatorship of the national government - and we are going to act like one, liberties and all. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
