This bill aims to further establish the Civilian Police Force and the Armed Forces of Aloria as two separate government agencies, as mandated by Batas Pambansa Blg. 9, also known as the Comprehensive National Executive Ministries and Agencies Act of 3158 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=324636).

The Civilian Police Force shall be tasked to uphold the law and to maintain peace and order in the country with the cooperation of government agencies, including the local government unit of the district they are assigned in. The Minister of Internal Affairs shall be tasked to supervise, review, and report on the performance of the police force.

The Armed Forces of Aloria shall be tasked to protect and ensure the national defense and security in Aloria in terms of land, air, and water. The Minister of Defense shall be tasked to supervise, review, and report on the performance of the armed forces.

In the event of a national or local emergency, especially one that poses a threat to law and order as well as national defense and/or security, the Armed Forces of Aloria may be called upon by the Civilian Police Force to provide assistance in maintaining peace and order.
