Message | We fully support |

Message | The AAS cannot support at this time. We do not need to be allowing foreign powers to gain undue leverage in Likatonian affairs... and this is very much a backdoor to control. |
Date | 21:47:39, November 23, 2005 CET | From | Likaton Fascist Front | To | Debating the Progressive Reform Bill - International Business Bill |
Message | We beleive that there should be some controls. If foreign companies are going to invest in Likatonia they will have to conform with our rules. |

Message | The problem is: once you let 'free' investment, you allow ownership of an industry by an outside power. This can provide unfair leverage during diplomatic interactions. Example: If Lodamun businesses owned large shares in ALL Likatonian Oil production industries, there is some pressure on the Likatonian government to protect Loduman interests... even when they might normally conflict with the BEST interests of Likatonia... just because we cannot afford to have our fuel supply cut... or even delayed. |

Message | Response to PSS: Of course they would have to obey our rules if they invest, this would simply level the playing field by treating foreign investors the same as domestic ones. It would have the potential of bringing an increased flow of capital into the country, which would expand our economy and create more jobs for our people. |
Date | 02:57:48, November 26, 2005 CET | From | Front for State Prosperity | To | Debating the Progressive Reform Bill - International Business Bill |
Message | The PCP will support this move. |
Date | 01:21:33, November 28, 2005 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Progressive Reform Bill - International Business Bill |
Message | The AAS is dismayed that so many of our compatriots are so willing to 'sell' our sovereignty. This is a sad day for Likatonians. |
