Message | The students need discipline. Look at what has happened in America. Children need to be slapped around a bit to teach them what is right and wrong. Maybe make an age where hitting children is no longer allowed. Like teenagers don't need to be smacked. |
Date | 19:30:06, November 22, 2005 CET | From | Party of Kanjor | To | Debating the Education Bill |
Message | Using violence on children will encourage them to be violent in later life, leading us to have a more violent society in Kanjor. Do we want children to think it's ok when they're adults to hit teenagers? No. |

Message | Very good, I'll support this |

Message | Your argument does not hold water. There is no evidence to support that claim, just like children with homosexual parents will end up homosexual. Children often times adapt to how their parents brought them up, in order to bring up their children better. For example. my parents are relaxed and never hit me. I myself believe in very strong discipline and that a child should not be smacked, but tasered. I also know people whose parents disciplined them, and they are some of the nicest people around. Just look at it this way, the teacher says don't throw things, but you continue. She gives you detention, you never come. She gives you a referral, so what? What will a piece of paper do? Just give them a good knuckle rapping and they learn quickly not to do something. Even Bhuddist monks do it to teach their students. They are the most peaceful people on the planet. |

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval. |
