Message | Mr Speaker, On the subject of divorce the representative from USC claimed that we had to look to reality and not the ideal. But fact is that marriage as a sacred bond between one man and one woman was a reality for hundred of years all over Christendom. But a world without war and fighting have never existed and could never existed as long as man is tainted by original sin. To believe that perennial peace could be achieved within this fallen world is to believe in the immanentizing of the eschaton. A belief that the church rightly have proclaimed to be a heresy. I yield |
