Message | Mr. Speaker, The people who commit the ultimate crime, That is to take life away from innocent people must themselves loose their lives. For this is the only appropriate punishment for them. I Yield. |

Message | Mr Speaker, The ILA claims to be against big government, but obviously on this issue supports giving the biggest power of all: The power to decide life and death. I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The government in this case is not deciding life and death. The person who commits the crime, in this case murder, has already made that decesion for the state. That is as long as he is found guilty after a fair trial. Also let it be known that if one party were to stick to an ideaology on every issue would be poisonous for the party and the state. The ILA while generally against the expansion of government does not always take that stance. For that would be foolish on some issues. I Yield. |
