| Message | Mr Speaker, We strongly oppose this. Women and Men are equal in the eyes of God. While we oppose having a military at all, our laws must not reflect sexist and false distinctions. If women should follow the example of Our Lady of Mercy, so too should men who were also given her as Mother. All should follow the example of the Prince of Peace and oppose all war and violence. I yield. |
