Bill: Withdrawal from Unjust Treaties
Details
Submitted by[?]: Union for Social Change
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 3169
Description[?]:
In regards to the unjust UCF treaty: We also should not be forced into military action simply because a treaty tells us we must, human life is too precious. This was a treaty put in place by rightist parties to force their ideas on other peoples and nations, and this is wrong. In regards to the unjust Nuclear Treaty: If the people decide we do not want nuclear weapons, then we should have the right to ban them. We should not be bound by an outmoded treaty and should have the right to proceed towards peace if we so choose. |
Proposals
Article 1
Withdraw from the United Conservative Front Treaty.
Article 2
Withdraw from the League of Nuclear Nations.
