Bill: Media Decency Act of 2144

Details

Submitted by[?]: Parti Monarchiste Catholique

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2146

Description[?]:

Colleagues,

Several years ago we informed this honourable legislative body about the dangers and evils of pornography. Today, we renew our effort to make this form of entertainment illegal along with comparable programs that are currently being shown on broadcast television with no watershed mark. We urge all parties who support traditional morality or family values to support this bill.

Thank you.

MessageAgainst. Besides, Article 3 contradicts Article 2 in that this bill will allow sexually explicity content or nudity to be shown late at night but how would that be possible if Article 2 bans nudity altogether on television.

MessageIf you notice, article 3 has the provision "if allowed" so no, it is not a contradiction.

Random fact: Moderation reserves the discretion to declare RP laws invalid if the players supporting them are doing so in an excessively confrontational way.
