Submitted by[?]: Partit Qawmien Soċjalista Maġatrani
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3170
Description[?]:
Privately-owned Train Operating Companies are being given a last chance to prove that they are beneficial to the nation. There are plans to consolidate the national rail industry under one corporation, publicly and privately owned. The undetermined part of the plans is whether or not to allow private ownership of part of the company and the efficiency with which the regional companies shall operate will be the determining factor. While the small-scale generators have been beneficial to those who have been able to invest in one, the benefits have not carried over to the grid sufficiently to allow the continued issuance of permits. |
