Message | Mr.Speaker Our last proposal was brought forward to elect a representative Government. This election produced a result where Government has consists of a party with less than 5% representation in the Diet. We beg to move a motion for a new election. I yield. |
Date | 11:24:45, August 23, 2011 CET | From | Imperial Aristocratic League | To | Debating the Call for early elections, February 3171 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The Diet has a full 105 seat representation. Just because one party has less than 5% representation does not mean we need a new election. The People of the Empire have spoken. And they will speak again in due time. A new Government has been formed. We in the ILA feel this bill was only proposed because the DLP was forced out of government. We urge the DLP to be the loyal opposition and to not ask for re-elections whenever they are not in power. I Yield. |
Date | 21:48:26, August 23, 2011 CET | From | Union for Social Change | To | Debating the Call for early elections, February 3171 |
Message | Mr Speaker, We support, but question why the DLP tends to flip flop on certain issues merely to gain power. We call on the party to stand on conviction, not the need for control of government. I yield. |
