Recognising that marriage is a personal, religious or spiritual commitment first and foremost, this bill seeks to remove government definitions, restrictions, taxation and regulation from the institution of marriage. Contracts between individuals involving inheritence, hospital visitation and next of kin privileges and any other mututal agreements between individuals will still be legally viable. |
