MessageI would ask those who oppose this bill to ask any child, whether abandoned, orphaned or whatever else, whether heterosexuality was a precondition of their desire to be loved, cared for and nourished. Labour sees no reason why adoption standards would be any different or less stringent for non-straight couples seeking to adopt children. That being said, Labour is very pro-children and will not only vote to legalize, but also to encourage the adoption of children by anyone and everyone who would give them a better life.

Message"This bill as absolutely nothing to do with sexuality or LGBT and we find it patronising that the Labour Party would try to make it so."
