Message | No it makes perfect sense. We have had 425 seats when we had only 4 parties, but we now have 8. We're using the number of senators used in a 4 party nation when we have 8. |

Message | The PSCP's logic is something I would expect from an elementary school student who colors Solentian flags in for civics and government class. Just because more parties comes doesn't mean a change of seats is necessitated. That is possibly the most ridiculous argument ever posed by a party in opposition to the number of seats. So let me pose this, when the number of parties dwindles down to four, three, or two, which in our nearly 800 year history has happened innumerable times, does that qualify for the seats in the Senate to be reduced? According to the PSCP, every time a party leaves or enters the Senate, the Senate must accordingly shrink/grow to satisfy their needs. The Senate is not to cater to the needs of fledgling and upstart parties, it is an institution that remains unchanged over time for the purpose of consistency. What a confusing argument, the PSCP continues to amaze me with its senseless proposals. FIP Senator Lorenzo Cardeau |
