Bill: Helping the nation of United Jakania.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Federal Republic Progressionist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3188

Description[?]:

I was contacted by a party within United Jankia and they have requested military help. While we should be a nation of peace, we cannot turn down a request of help. This bill will allow the fallowing:

1-Send 15,000 troops to aid United Jakania.

2-Have minor state owned industries start producing tanks, guns, bullets, aircrafts, and any other items the army request to have.

Our nations troops will be helping for 3-6 months but may be extended if a bill is made and proposes to do so and is passed. Troops can be withdrawn if parties request and pass a bill to do so. When 3 months have passed troops will be withdrawn 2,000 a month. When all troops are withdrawn then the small state owned industries will stop producing weapons for the army.

MessageSenators,

United Jakania has had a long and prosperous history. We are now at a turning point, the Republic is under threat from a Monarchy that refuses to acknowledge the democratic will of the people. While the Monarchy are intent to a policy of splendid isolation, the Republic has always been open to good foreign relations and will not forget any help given to us. We are currently amassing a broad coalition in our attempts to bring democracy back to Jakania.

Yours,
Nicholas Davidson, UJDP Leader

MessageOn another note, there appears to be some confusion. While the UJDP is the largest Party and has formed a Cabinet the Monarchists refuse to acknowledge our rule and have began a Civil War against us. This has already resulted in the death of 230 civilians [http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2404&p=32196#p32196]. We need help, and we need it soon.

Message"It is highly unSolentian to involve ourselves in the wars of others! Not for a thousand years have our troops stepped out of our realm and the Unionist Party is keen to defend our internationally respected neutrality."
