Message | I have proposed the cabinets proportionally to how how many seats a party has. FIP will get three. Unionist and ULC two. And the others one. Let us all work in a bipartisan fashion to get done what needs to be done. |
Date | 20:30:19, September 27, 2011 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of October 3188 |
Message | Labour will support a multipartisan coalition. This is an unexpected but welcome move by our friends in the Moderate caucus. Labour Leader Ryan Schroeder |
Date | 21:25:03, September 27, 2011 CET | From | Chann National Party (CNP) | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of October 3188 |
Message | The Supreme President, Sotear Chann, recognizes the fact that each party represents different pockets of the population and therefore it is important that we have representatives of ALL the people on the cabinet, not just those of the left and those of the right. |
Date | 04:12:00, September 28, 2011 CET | From | United National Front | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of October 3188 |
Message | We appreciate the effort taken by the Supreme President to propose a cabinet which includes all parties. We are happy with the ministry given to us. However we don't approve his decision to allocate Defence, Finance & Foreign Affairs ministries to his own party in a situation where MLC is not the largest party. Richard Smith Leader of UNF. |
Date | 04:54:57, September 28, 2011 CET | From | United Liberal Caucus | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of October 3188 |
Message | The United Front should approve this bill. In past cabinets the so-called People's Alliance as purposefully shut out of the ruling coalition for their extreme views. This is a great way to move past that phase in our nation's history by becoming mainstream parties. Working within a framework that should be accepted by all. And the allocation of the seats is fine. If anything the Progressives should get the seat currently being assigned to the SPP. They do after all have more seats. -Grace S. Lough |
Date | 05:00:55, September 28, 2011 CET | From | United National Front | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of October 3188 |
Message | But don't you think keeping the 3 main ministries with a party which doesn't have the largest share of the senate is questionable? |
Date | 05:56:24, September 28, 2011 CET | From | Federal Independent Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of October 3188 |
Message | We outright refuse to be part of a cabinet that will be instrumental in dismantling Solentian heritage and tradition as we know it. The MLC has earned our opposition to its agenda and we will derail every attempt it makes to install change for the sake of change. This unwarranted act of political war will not be left unanswered. FIP Senator Mario LaHood |

Message | "These piles are unreasonable. The SPP now has nothing to do with the radical parties such as the ULC and the MLC or Labour. This is a disastrous Cabinet" Kate House Secretary of the SPP |
Date | 16:35:58, September 28, 2011 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of October 3188 |
Message | You are the true radicals. |
Date | 21:26:26, September 28, 2011 CET | From | Chann National Party (CNP) | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of October 3188 |
Message | The only radicals I see are those who would oppose a cabinet that is inclusive of all parties... whereas the cabinets of the FIP and the UNF and SPP have been strictly partisan and in favor of parties who happen to hold their views while shutting out opposition. True Democracy means Change, whether it be gradual or whether it be revolutionary. Remember that we also represent the views of the citizens who have elected us, in essence, not all citizens support your traditionalist and radical ultra-conservative views. To demand that only your views are reasonable is to say to those citizens who do not agree are radical. You have called those we represent radicals. The FIP has declared "political war" upon the citizens we represent... The FIP is responsible for this "political civil war", not the parties that happen to represent those who have a different view. |
