| I would like to ensure that Rutanian politics will not come to governmental crises similar to the one experienced in the past. For this reason I am proposing to ammend the Constitution: 1. Extending the legislative term will make sure that politicians and parties are acting in the long-term interests of Rutania. The current 48-month term encourages political opportunism and populism, because of the frequency of electoral campaigns. Besides, a longer term will enable governments to carry out their political projects. 2.
