ToDebating the Strengthening Unions - A Pillar of the Middle Class
MessageUnions are a pillar of the middle class in that they are always on the from lines for workers. Collective bargining is the tool they use and it should not be weakened or restricted. Unions have a positive effect on the whole economy, driving up the wages and benefits for members and non-members alike by setting industry pay standards. It is time all pro-union parties fight for these important institutions.

Random quote: "In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemoller
