Message | Mr. Speaker; We can see the advantages to articles 1 and 2, as both are in line with our laissez faire economic policy. The problem is in Article 3. We feel that visitors, with intensive security checking of course, should be welcomed to our land for many reasons. First, the cash they spend comes from outside, and is profit to our government Second, upon seeing how well run this land is, trade and investment is encouraged; yet again to the financial benefit of our government. Third, we have much to brag about in this land, and like to show off! Therefore, we feel that discouraging visitation is not an optimum solution. |
