MessageWe ask the opinion of the Senate on the following regulations regarding public education. The opinion of the SPP is that sex education should be left to the protection of the family of the student.

MessageWell our opinion differs on both articles. On the first point private schools need to be regulated so that they teach vital skills to a nationally set standard. On the second point students have a right to sexual education, and the only way to make sure every student is taught these things to an appropriate standard is to mandate they be taught in schools. This will not get our support.

MessageSex ed. is important in school. While parents must teach their kid, we must not forget that some parents will not want to teach their kids about those matters and won't.
