Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 13:10:15, December 20, 2011 CET | From | Constitutionalist Imperial League (IA) | To | Debating the Freedom of religion act |
Message | Mr Speaker, For centuries, the word to describe the subjects of His majesty was "Lutheran", the appelation "Luthorian" is relatively recent because until quite recently, it was just a fact that every citizen of Luthori was also a Lutheran, a member of the Church of Luthori. This proves the incredible connection that Luthori has with Lutheranism. Freedom of religion is guaranteed but the State must endorse the Church of Luthori. I yield. |
Date | 14:14:47, December 20, 2011 CET | From | Secular party | To | Debating the Freedom of religion act |
Message | Secular party thinks that if people are for example required to dress according to religious codes and prayers are mandatory in schools, then there is not real freedom of religion. |
Date | 02:12:18, December 21, 2011 CET | From | Alternative Party | To | Debating the Freedom of religion act |
Message | Mr Speaker, Whilst the Alternatives agree that certain laws regarding religion in education and dress should be relaxed, we do not support the abolition of the Luthori state religion. As such, we will oppose. I yield. |
