The Alternatives propose a 20-year progressive roll out of public school services with an initial focus on early childhood and primary education, while allowing the current private system to continue unrestricted. To support the establishment of the public services, publicly funded private charter schools will have the option to conform and cede control to the public education office, or else to seek private funding. |
