Bill: Military reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: AM Radical Libertarian Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3238

Description[?]:

In an increasingly uncertain world, we of Likitonia must have the most efficient military possible, with the least restrictions on how it is to be employed. While we are not planning agression, we must be prepared to do whatever necessary to defeat, or better yet, prevent it. It is with this in mind that the RLP introduces this modest proposal for military reform.

MessageMr Speaker,

If i may ask the RLP, what on earth they think they are doing!!! Article one of the this bill, is just absolutely outrageous! However my party will stand by the second article which will prove to promote equality throughout our proud nation. Untill article one is re-written we will not support this bill.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The RRP supports both proposals of this bill, as the military will still use appropriate caution before releasing nuclear weapons. Just because it is allowed doesn't mean our military will use these weapons without justified cause.

MessageMr Speaker,

The RRP supports this bill... for what reason? If the Liberal Right want to regain some of their previous popularity with the public then they should re think what they stand for. Not only is this bad for the international community but puts are nation in a dangerous situation. I ask everyone to please vote against this bill.

MessageMr. Speaker,

If the NCP can offer an example of irresponsibility justifying tying the hands of our noble military, we will be happy to reconsider Article 1 in light of it. Otherwise, we feel that our militayy leaders need the freedom to pursue any future actions in the best way possible. Our history shows that we have not engaged in expansionistic warfare in the past, nor is there any indication of these intents in the future.

MessageMr Speaker,

It has nothing to do with the expansionist intentions of our nation. However if this legislation is passed and we have a future military leader with these idealogical impulses, then we are unable to defend our right as government to stop the use of nuclear warfare. We must pass legislation that protects the peoples interest and not the idea's of the right wing maniacs, who simply feel that flexing there military might is best for the nation. Stop this legislation!

MessageThese are good proposals. you shall have the UW support.

We also appologise for the randomness of the last proposed Bill... We held a position of power, and wanted to increase party awareness...

These proposals seem a good idea, firstly, we can have the first strike in nuclear war should we need to as a nation, and secondly, the women in the minitary is fair and just, and will increase the number of troops, while allowing an easy way of displaying national equality.
