This has already been recognized by the Imperial Magisterium through the “Resolution regarding historical truth” passed in May 3234. The lands to the north and the east of Beiteynu where given to the Selucian tribe in an agreement between the Red Dragon King and the Empress of Felines. Most Pontesi are Selucians who have been forced to adopt Majatran language and culture, but are still Selucians by blood and by faith. These shall hereforth be referred to as “Pontesi-Selucians”. Article II The lands of the Pontesi are a union of three kingdoms since the Age of Yore. The first is the kingdom of the Western Selucians, those who stayed on this coast of the strait. The second is the kingdom of the Varangians, Svageir Kazulian adventurers that moved to the region in the Age of Darkness. Their lands are mainly to the north-west, mainly Thirianiah and parts of Byzantiah but also some isolated parts of Dungeariah. The third are the Nael'shadari, decendants of the Shadari people of Selucia. Their lands are mainly to the north-east, in western Byzantiah and parts of Azure Peaks. All these entities shall be considered protected under the Red Dragon Pact and all shall have the same rights to protect their culture and their heritage, as we are all united as siblings in our zeal for righteousness as followers of the true Selucian Catholic faith. Article III Thanks to the assimilation campaign successfully conducted by the government, we have eliminated much of the harmful Majatran influence upon our society. The Pontesi Hegemony is now a free and harmonious society based upon the Christian values of the Selucian Catholic Church. As a result of the establishment of the Union, the assimilation shall be fulfilled by the officially recognized revetment of the many Majatran names of cities and regions of our country to their rightful historical names. Article IV It is adequate to refer to the lands of the union as the “Pontesi Realm” as no one doubts that these lands are bound together by a common cultural heritage.
