Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 22:09:24, December 30, 2011 CET | From | Left Libertarian Alliance of Cats | To | Debating the Animal Welfare Act |
Message | The perspective of our party is that we prefer regulations and norms to be established informally, so as to allow them to best reflect the complex world in which we live. Switching to a regulatory framework would move decision making away from those who are on the front lines of interacting with animals to those people further away who have less information about what would be most socially optimal for cats and people. -Dick Richards, Minister of Food and Agriculture, Libertarian Alliance of Cats |
