Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 11:30:45, January 18, 2012 CET | From | Constitutionalist Imperial League (IA) | To | Debating the Foreign Relations and Military Reform Bill |
Message | Mr Speaker, We must condemn articles 1 and 4 in the strongest possible manner: these articles hamper our ability to defend the realm and are in our opinion unconstitutional. The CIL must inform the Diet that it will pursue a lawsuit to have articles 1 and 4 deemed unconstitutional if this bill passes. I yield. |
Date | 15:29:55, January 19, 2012 CET | From | Luthori Tory Party | To | Debating the Foreign Relations and Military Reform Bill |
Message | Mr. Speaker, the LCNP would remind the honourable members of the League that the Luthori constitution has existed for well over 1000 years and has at various times accommodated both the articles to which they object. As such, such a law-suit is unlikely to succeed and would only waste court time. I yield the floor. |
