MessageWe agree with articles 1,2,3,4 and 9.

We appreciate that the Pontesi Hegemony existed for fifty years but that is surely dwarfed by the Pontesian Dynastic Commonwealth which was born out of wide consensus of opinion and which existed for many hundreds of years before the Republican era began. We would support the re-establishment of the impartial Belknap dynasty rather than the MARC-dominated position.

MessageThe war was fought for the Hegemony. The House of Mederagaar survived their trial by fire; the Belknaps did not. There is a reason the Dynastic Empire was replaced by the Hegemony.

Message"Prior to the war, the International Monarchist League named the House of Mederagaar as the rightful successors of the Belknap family. The Belknap family was deposed by the failed Democratic government nearly 60 years ago. We believe we are more in touch with the people of the Hegemony rather than an outdated Imperial legacy"

MessageAs we stated in a message to the NLA - we fought for the freedom of the Pntek people rather than for a particular form of constitution. We shall always disagree that the House of Belknap is irrelevant and that Pontesi no longer maintains its rightful claims abroad. It seems necessary however, considering the horrific events of the past few years, to reach agreement. Despite our very many misgivings on this issue therefore, we shall not seek to prevent this bill from passing.

MessageWe would also like to forward the following suggestions:

Firstly, that all names of cities and regions thrust upon this nation by the Crusaders are returned to their previous Pontesian names within this bill.

Secondly, that the name of the Head of State is altered to something more appropriate. Director-General sounds incredibly clinical and grey.

Thirdly, the Precinct Commander is amended to something which sounds less like a position in the police.

Fourthly, the name of the regions is altered from 'precinct' to something more appropriate. The word precinct actually means 'A district of a city or town as defined for police purposes' and is thus synonymous with a police state rather than the open and democratic nation which we crave.

Fifthly, that the name of the legislature is amended to something which doesn't infer that the legislature is a Church legislature. We woud welcome the use of the traditional 'August Parliament of the Cedar Throne' which has been used in Pontesi since the nation's birth and pre-dates the Monarchy and Belknap family. This would placate us greatly if achieved.

MessageThe NLA naturally agrees with undoing the names of the Crusaders.

We also agree to changing the names of Precinct and Precinct Commander to something more appropriate.

We wholeheartedly support renaming the legislature to the August Parliament of the Cedar Throne.

At the moment, we believe that a "clinical and grey" name is appropriate for the Head of State, as they must be clinical and pragmatic in their approach to lawmaking in the days to come. However, our stance on the name for Head of State is not set and stone.
