Bill: Anti-Dundorf Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Nationalist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2150

Description[?]:

For too Long, in the opinion of the Nationalist Party, have the sea and Harbours of Rutania been blocked by the Socialist scum of Dundolf. The un-democratic nation of Dundolf proposed this treaty to gain access to the Sea. a sea they do not own, nor care for, nor Govern. the Regime in Dundolf must not be given the access to our waters no longer. What advantage does it play to Rutania, except to be a Communist Puppet?
The Waters need cleaning! We must act for Rutania.

MessageWe dont actually get anything out of this treaty, perhaps instead of using their surplus to buy norvastan, they can pay us for access

MessageIt gives us a trade advantage, we are "privileged partner" of Dundorf. We oppose any of the current suggestions as we feel that Dundorf too has the right to a reasonably-sized navy to defend and escort its merchant and fishery vessels, and to operate merchant and fishery vessels. If Rutania doesn't allow them to do access our ports for that purpose, they can always find another privileged partner.

MessageHow can we be a privileged partner? How can our companies trade with a country that bans private enterprise? They wouldnt allow them in to sell goods etc

MessageEven if they buy Norvastan, they still need to get things from mainland Dundorf to Norvastan. It doesnt actually solve anything. I dont think they've thought it through.

MessageIf they want to transport goods between norvastan and dundorf, they need our ports. So what on earth are you on about?

And answer my points, unless you dont have any valid points

MessageOh, and by the way: Dundorfian ships will remain in your harbors at this time. Any attacks on them or attempts to remove them will be regarded as an act of war.
