| Forcing all children to sing the national anthem when played at the start of the school day is a medieval practice which may cause offence or distress toc children of foreign origin or who do not know the words. Furthermore, children should not be forced to sing in front of their peers unless it is neccesary for their educational development. This act strikes the balance between respecting ourselves and respecting non-Jelbanian and shy students, by ending the practice of forcing children to sing but instead asking that they show respect when the anthem is played. This ensures a patriotic, but free and fair, schooling environment - aa free as possible from political interference whilst still instilling a sense of national pride. |
