MessageMr. Speaker

We see nothing wrong with this bill. In fact, it makes sure that our nation is not fanaticalized by any one religion. Instead, it allows religion, but doesn't allow ti to go crazy. We agree with this treaty.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We agree with the RPP that the actual provisions of the Atheist Union Treaty are pretty harmless. However, the *message* that this Treaty sends out is hostile towards people of faith because it declares the signatories of the Treaty to be members of an "Atheist Union". It should also be pointed out that Telamon is currently the *only* signatory of this Treaty. Is there any point to it, other than offending people of faith?

MessageThe last time this happened the great Cult of Shuzzag Khan had mass sacrifices of Hutori nationals in the street to the Worm God, we at the IRP would very much like to see this happen again. We vote yes.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We are grateful for the support of the IRP, but rather concerned about their views on human sacrifice...

MessageMr. Speaker,

The name of the Treaty is unimportant. What is does is. We find the articles inside the treaty to be carefully-thought and uncompromising in nature.

MessageThe IRP supports a secular nation where religion and politics do not mix, but it is not the rights of the government to regulate religion. And we support the rights of religous institutions to sacrifice humans by purchasing them from prisons or consensual sacrifice.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The title of this Treaty is very important because it sends out a political and cultural message which is unfriendly to Catholics and other people of faith. Our membership of this Treaty conveys an impression that we are a nation which is hostile to religious belief. This is not right.
