Message | Mr. Speaker, Article 1: Telamon's forests are a resource of great national interest. It is preferable for the government to own them, although private enterprise can reasonably be given some role in their management. Article 2: This is grossly irresponsible. In a world of resource depletion, we need to take recycling seriously if we are to meet the needs of the future. Article 3: Whales are a highly-intelligent, highly-evolved species. We must treat them with the very greatest of respect. Hunting them for profit is simply not acceptable. |
