| Gun crime is a major part of crime in any country mostly so in a country where guns are legally avaibale for people to have and use at their discretion. This proposal is aimed at striking a blow to gun crime by making gun ownership illegal. In this day and age there is no sound reason for anyone to own a gun, the law at present only gives the criminals a way to obtain them and use them. |

Old value:: Adult individuals may own guns under strict license conditions.
Current: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.
Proposed: Individuals are not permitted to own firearms under any circumstances.
