This bill will establish the Bank of Telamon as the country's central bank and with the power to issue currency and to act as a lender of last resort. This central bank will necessary remain under the control of the state. However, all other banks will be privatised as we do not believe that it is the place of state to provide banking services. This is better left to the private sector. Private banks, will of course continue to be regulated To ensure that they Deere to fair and ethical trading and lending practices. Charles Fox ULA Leader |
