Message | Mr. Speaker, As the party who changed the law from the proposed to the old one, we are against this change. We, the people of Telamon, must be able to decide what we do with our POWs, not some bureaucrat in Majatra or Seleya. Also, we would like to remind the Parliament that we are not brutes, our POWs will be kept to our standards which are perfectly acceptable. Change in this law is not needed. |
Date | 03:21:25, March 07, 2012 CET | From | National Imperial Party of Telamon | To | Debating the Prisoners of War Act |
Message | Telamon is a civlized nation, prisoners of war should be grateful for their generous treatment. |
Date | 13:36:35, March 07, 2012 CET | From | Catholic Political Union | To | Debating the Prisoners of War Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We urge fellow members to consider that this is not just about Telamon. Abiding by international protocol will encourage other nations to do the same. Ignoring international protocol will send out the signal that treating prisoners cruelly is acceptable in the eyes of the world. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
