Message | Mr. Speaker, No, no, no, a thousand times no! Does the CPU honestly propose to suddenly invalidate hundreds of thousands of marriages overnight? This is a disgusting display of reactionary bigotry. Homosexual marriage is here, and here to stay. |

Date | 21:01:50, March 09, 2012 CET | From | Red Police Party | To | Debating the Marriage Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We are strongly opposed to the civil right restrictions the CPU are attempting to create here. Article 3 is simply backwards in todays society, and Article 2 will create harmful and dangerous relations between two individuals in a marriage setting. We can fully support Article 1, and also plead the CPU to move the clause into a seperate bill. |
Date | 16:19:14, March 10, 2012 CET | From | Catholic Political Union | To | Debating the Marriage Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, As Articles 2 and 3 appear to be more contentious, we have removed them from this Bill and hope a consensus can be built around the desirability of sending out a clear social message that adultery is unacceptable. |
Date | 19:03:50, March 11, 2012 CET | From | Red Police Party | To | Debating the Marriage Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We applaud the CPU's willingness to work together with other Parliamentarians, and are happy to see this bill about to pass. |
