Bill: Government Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Beluz Democratic Karavist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 3271
Description[?]:
The BLSP proposes a government reform. If the Tory party disapproves, we will take our motion to the streets in the form of riots, and the Leader of the Nation will force the Finance Minister to resign. As soon as the government is reformed, it is fair to the people that we hold elections. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The lyrics of the national anthem.
Old value:: When Beluzia first, at Heaven's command Arose from out the azure main; This was the charter of the land, And guardian angels sang this strain: "Rule, Beluzia! rule the waves: "Beluzians never will be slaves." The nations, not so blest as thee, Must, in their turns, to tyrants fall; While thou shalt flourish great and free, The dread and envy of them all. "Rule, Beluzia! rule the waves: "Beluzians never will be slaves." Still more majestic shalt thou rise, More dreadful, from each foreign stroke; As the loud blast that tears the skies, Serves but to root thy native oak. "Rule, Beluzia! rule the waves: "Beluzians never will be slaves." Thee haughty tyrants ne'er shall tame: All their attempts to bend thee down, Will but arouse thy generous flame; But work their woe, and thy renown. "Rule, Beluzia! rule the waves: "Beluzians never will be slaves." To thee belongs the rural reign; Thy cities shall with commerce shine: All thine shall be the subject main, And every shore it circles thine. "Rule, Beluzia! rule the waves: "Beluzians never will be slaves." The Muses, still with freedom found, Shall to thy happy coast repair; Blest Isle! With matchless beauty crown'd, And manly hearts to guard the fair. "Rule, Beluzia! rule the waves: "Beluzians never will be slaves."
Current:
Land of the Free by the people, We pledge to thy liberty! No tyrants here linger, despots must flee. This tranquil haven of democracy, the blood of our sires which hallows the sod, brought freedom from slavery and oppressionists. By the might of truth, no longer shall we be hewers of wood. Arise! Sons, daughters of the united and democratic ancestors, put on your armor, clear the land! Drive back the tyrants, let despots flee -Land of the Free by the people! Nature has blessed us with wealth untold. Our mountains and valleys where prairies roll; our fathers, mothers, valiant and bold drove back the invader- those of tyranny. |
Proposed:
United forever in friendship and labour, Our mighty shires will ever endure. The Land of Beluzia will live through the ages. The dream of a people their fortress secure. Long live Beluzia, our great motherland, Built by the people's mighty hand. Long live our people, united and free, Let the Sun bow to our flag, for all to see. We fought for our land, we scared the invaders, And refused to bring home any form of shame. Our glory will live in the memory of nations And all of Terra will honour her name. Long live Beluzia, our great motherland, Built by the people's mighty hand. Long live our people, united and free, Let the Sun bow to our flag, for all to see. |
