Message | Where should I even start. Article 5 and 7 are perfectly fine, and simply cut down on some bureaucratic nonsense. However, I have a beef with A. 1, 2, and 3, for a few simple reasons. Number one, do you really want to put the entirety of the executive branches power into one party? If the head of state got to pick its own staff with no check and balance, it could pave the way for massive abuses. Article 5 is absolutely perfect, that way the people will feel like they have more control over their government, which is always a good thing. However, population shouldn't equal political power. The legislation should represent the interests of each region, without the bias of population. Otherwise the denser, urban regions would control more than the farmers and miners. |

Message | Articles 1, 2, and 3 would not allow the head of government to freely chose his own cabinet, It would still have to be approved it would just simplify the process. It would look much like a country called the United States did back thousands of years ago. Article 4 is simply common sense. Each person should get to chose the same amount of people. My vote should count the same as his or her vote not less. |

Message | I never argued number 4s point, i was arguing Article 7. Article 4 makes perfects sense in every regard, and i completely support it. Article 7 would remove power to less densely populated regions, which would give the rural poor less of a voice. We work for our people as a whole, not for the most amount of people. Also, the chances are that if you got enough votes to become the head of state, you probably would have the majority of the legislative house, in which case cooperation would become unnecessary. You could put in any wing-nut, crazy or fanatic you wanted into the cabinet with no chance to stop the leading house. The way things currently are force a certain degree of cooperation between the parties. I don't care if its what the late US did, its not what we do. |

Message | I am sorry, I would like to correct what I said by saying that article 7 is fine, I was arguing against article 6. |

Message | I was arguing for it. We both got mixed up. |

Message | Right now the head of government can only be nominated by the head of state so you run into the same problem, while the legislature doesn't have to approve it the people do. |

Message | CORRECTION: while the legislature WONT'T have to approve it the people WILL. |

Message | OK, we could continue arguing about this for years and get nothing done. Lets agree to pass Articles 4, 5, and 7, and argue for and against numbers 1-3 and 6. How does that sound? |
