Description[?]:
Seeing as how Trade unions are banned, we propose the following Article 1: Establishment of the Employee's Advisory and Review Service or EARS EARS will be charged with the oversight of workers rights in the country EARS will be headed by the head of trade and industry. Article 2: Operation of the Employee's Advisory and Review Service If an individual has a problem with management or wages in a buisiness, he/she will bring this complain to EARS. EARS will investigate this complain to see if it is legitimate. If the EARS decides that the complaint is legitimate, then the Labour Front decides what actions to take to rectify the problem The said buisiness is given a one month period to rectify the problem If said buisiness does not rectify the problem in the alotted time, then the workers are allowed a strike action. Article 3: Business Rating The EARS is charged with a 1-5 star ranking system for businesses The EARS will determine the ranking based on how the company treats employees as far as wages, pension schemes, benefits, as well as company-employee relations. Each Buisiness is required to print the rating on all food products as well as any advertising the company puts out Article 4: Rating Policy If a company earns a 1 star it will recieve a 3% tax increase If a company earns a 2 star it will recieve a 2% tax increase (not compounded by any others) If a company earns a 3 star rating, no tax change occurs If a company earns a 4 star rating, it recieves a 1% tax reduction If a company keeps a five star rating and holds it for a time of one year, it will recieve a 2% tax cut until the rating drops. |

Message | Apart from the last sentance we think this proposal is very good. We would prefer to see something like: If said buissiness does not rectify the problem satisfactorily in the alloted time, then the Labour Front may authourise strike action/ and or work to rule. The Labour Front may also fine companies an unlimited sum. We would also like the labour front to be able to issue companies a star rating of 1 to 5 for their treatment of employees. This being displayed clearly upon all products and advertising of the company in question. Perhaps giving comapnies achieveing 5 stars a tax break would also be a good idea. The stars system should also take into account wages, pension schemes and beneifits as well as basic company-employee relaions. We are unsure about the title labour Front. We feel something less formidable and bolshie sounding. Perhaps Employee's Advisory and Review Service or EARS |

Message | I like this overall, but I think that we should get rid of strikes altogether. Instead, we should reward companies with 3 stars a small tax break and make the break larger with each star (5 stars should have something like a 30% break). This way, companies could be compensated and actually given some extra money for treating their workers better (which actually costs a lot) and there would be no need for strike. I like it because it involves tax cuts and you might like it because it involves better workers rights. |

Message | hmmm, you bring up a good point with the larger tax break though. However, i will not get rid of the strike action. This was practiced in Nazi Germany and worked amazingly well. |

Message | I can't make the taxes any lower because our corporate tax is at 3% |

Message | Thanks for making those changes. This is an idea i have long considered worth exploring. I dont think tax hikes are a good idea, although perhaps the KIP's idea of larger tax breaks for 3,4, and 5 star is a good idea. I think it is important that the service can fine companies for grave breaches, i.e not reaching star 1. But overall i think this is a great proposal and you will have our full support. |

Message | We will support this, although our goal will be to legalize trade unions. |
