Message"Child welfare? Is it child welfare to keep children in the foster care system where they are switched from family to family? Is it to the benefit of a child to place them in orphanages where they are still without the love they so desperately need to maintain their welfare? Our policy is, that if the couple or individual passes the test and shows that they will love the child and care for its well being, than they are more than qualified. Children need loving homes! The Unionist are quick to shout 'racism!' and 'equality' yet here they contradict their own platform by limiting the right of children to a loving home and limiting those homes to heterosexual couples."

MessageThe status-quo on this works well and has worked well, and we believe, will continue to work well. We have no desire to see the bill changed and will therefore vote "nay."

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".

Random quote: "A leader has the vision and conviction that a dream can be achieved. He inspires the power and energy to get it done." - Ralph Nader
