Bill: Treaty Withdrawal Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: House Stafford
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3282
Description[?]:
The laws of our great nation should not be superseded by international treaty. The Parliament should have the right to change any laws it wants. If the people of Telamon want a law passed, said law should not be hindered by the international community. Our military operations should not be subject to these treaties either. The President, Prime Minister and Defence Minister need the ability to take drastic military action at a moment's notice, to ensure the safety of our citizenry. These agreements only hinder that ability. |

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
