Bill: Referendum, 2nd Attempt

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand National Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 3283

Description[?]:

Unfortunately, we failed to pass the conditions of the referendum in time, because the PGR did not vote on it (if you disagreed with the conditions, please state your opinion so that we can make changes). Therefore, we are launching a second attempt. The conditions remain the same as stated in the first bill. However, if the second attempt for a referendum fails as well, the Prime Minister will propose a vote of confidence in the parliament and subsequently call for early elections, because we won't accept simply maintaining the status quo.

Larissa LeCoultre (GNP)
Speaker of the Parliament
